Balsberget

Balsberget is an almost 100 m high forested eminence of Archean rock, located about 10 km north of Kristianstad. From its summit you have a wide view across the surrounding landscape. The area is a nature reserve with several way marked paths.

Directions
From Kristianstad drive north towards Arkelstorp and then after 1 km turn off towards Fjälkestad. Just south of Fjälkestad there is a signposted road towards Balsberget and this road takes you up to a car park at the edge of the forest. Along the lake shore east of the eminence there is a cycle track, which leads round Lake Råbelövssjön, beginning and ending in Kristianstad.
